Extending students for targeted mathematical outcomes

Engaging students at educational risk and students with special educational needs in mathematics can be a difficult task. This session aims to share ways that her team have engaged these students and have helped them succeed in the mathematics classroom by sparking their curiosity through STEM and implementing targeted mathematics classes. She will share strategies and approaches as well as resources that her team have developed and helpful resources they have purchased to support their students. She will share a bit about the spatial training she has been working on and the results achieved so far through the varied programs in use.
