    Presenter bio

Physical Activity is a 'super food' for educators. Enhanced concentration and on task behaviour, improved mood and physical and mental health and increased motivation are among some of the benefits we can experience when physical activity is incorporated into classroom lessons successfully.

In this session, Emily will share the research behind why educators need to be incorporating physical activity into the learning experience. Emily shares her experience as a physical activity expert with teachers to enhance their skills in seamlessly and efficiently introducing opportunities for physical activity across many aspects of the curriculum. She will share the innovative practices behind her hugely successful Race Around Australia initiative.
